Trees Shrubs Set at Memorial Park
November 12, 1952

Twelve additional shade trees and 12 shrubs, purchased by the city, have been planted at Susanville Memorial Park.

The trees include three weeping birch planted around the wading pool; three fruitless mulberry; three silver maple and three Arizona ash.

Twelve firethorn shrubs has also been added to the park.

The trees an shrubs have also been staked with rope braces as protection against the weather and vandals. Paul Lumber Co. donated the stakes.
