Robbery on Lonely Road Charged

Harry Tate and F. W. Moorman were held to answer in the superior court following their preliminary hearing before Justice Godman at Ravendale.
Tate and Moorman are charged with the robbery of Roland Ward, driver of a truck for the Susanville Bottling Works, on a lonely stretch of road near Madeline. The accused men gave their address as Klamath Falls, Ore.

To date, there are 12 petitions being circulated by candidates for the position of constable of the Honey Lake township to fill the vacancy caused by the death of William Tremain.
Those petitioning for the position are Ford Clark, H. Pettenenelli, A. Ganyon, G. R. Dobyns, T. Clement, L. Hemler, S. Ancelli, E. Minchell, L. Dozier, George Dieter, E. M. Wilson and E. Bennett.
The board of supervisors will meet Monday, when an appointment will be made.
