Off to Miami to Compete

OFF TO MIAMI to compete in the nationwide Punt, Pass and Kick divisional contest will be Kyle Kingston, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kingston of Susanville.
Kyle earned this trophy and the honor of representing the Oakland Raiders in the American Football Conference division competition for 8-year-olds. Charles B. Kitz, Ford Division’s district car merchandising manager, presented the trophy at the Oakland Coliseum competition.
The Miami contest will be at halftime in the Dolphins versus Detroit Lions game Dec. 15.
More than a million youngsters ages 8 through 13 enter Punt, Pass and Kick competition annually. It is sponsored by participating Ford dealers.
Kyle entered through Doyle Motors, 611 Main St. National Winners will be decided at the Super Bowl game in Houston, Jan. 13.
