Thanksgiving Dance at the Orpheum Will Eclipse All Records

Nothing will be left undone to assure a complete success. All preparations for the grand Thanksgiving dance are nearing completion and while 4th of July dance has been proclaimed as the greatest ballroom affair ever given in Susanville, this Thanksgiving dance will eclipse all former records in originality and grandeur.
Manager Schlesinger is busy installing special electric apparatus for this occasion.
Besides the “ghost” dance several other dances will be featured with beautiful electric effects.
Judges for the “prize waltz” will be announced in the next issue, Ed Shirley’s bells have arrived and will add to the attractiveness of the Music.
After the regular performance, with orchestra in attendance, the doors will close at 9 o’clock and will open to the dancing public at 9:30 sharp. The main floor is reserved for dancers only: the gallery and the stage will be reserved for spectators.
About one hundred seats will be available on the stage.
