LASSEN COUNTY SHERIFF Ben Yeakey admires a display of toys at Tinkers to Teens in kick-off ceremonies for the department’s annual Toys for Tots Drive.
Toys are collected by the department from donors who will distribute them prior to Christmas to needy Lassen County children.
Toys, new and old, large and small, are presently being collected in Susanville at the Lassen County Jail and in Westwood at Madden’s Business Service, 324 Birch, and the Westwood Community Services District, 319 Ash.
The department is seeking collection centers in the Herlong and Bieber areas.
The department is also soliciting names of children in the County who might benefit from the program. (Advocate photo).
