Christmas Decorations Being Placed on Main Street
November 27, 1972

David Hughes of the Susanville Public Works attaches a line of Christmas decorations to support wires across Main Street, as the city “dresses up” for the holiday season.

The decorations, some 22 in all, are donated by the merchants of Susanville and installed each year by the City of Susanville.

The project, which was begun last week, was completed yesterday. Operating the forklift is Beau Markham, while foreman Bob Gordon, back to camera, and Clarence Stout assist and divert traffic. (Advocate photo).
