Junior Traffic Patrol Displays Uniforms
November 6, 1938

Above are pictured members of the Susanville Junior Traffic Patrol who were recently presented with full regalia at a meeting at the Roosevelt School.

Junior Traffic Group Presented With Uniforms

At a recent meeting held in the Roosevelt School, members of the Susanville Junior Traffic Patrol were presented with full regalia, including yellow raincoats, Sam Browne belts, stop signs and life size danger figures, all of which will be put to use in the near future.

Mrs. Mae McQueen is in charge of the detail.

Rain Coats Given The Susanville Rotary Club presented the rain coats and hats, and the local 20-30 Club gave the danger figure, a wooden life-sized figure of a girl to be placed at school intersections.

The California State Automobile Association gave the Sam Browne belts and arm bands, and the stop signs were made at Lassen Union High School. The members are given complimentary tickets to the Sierra Theatre each Saturday afternoon.

Captains Elected Captains of the patrol are elected each ten weeks, but new patrol boys are chosen each four weeks. W. C. Ames, local manager of the AAA made the presentations.
