Underground Project Nears Completion

Completion of the Citizens Utilities Company undergrounding program on Main Street for this year started several weeks ago and is expected to be completed within the next week, according to G. F. Watson, district manager for the telephone company.
The undergrounding program this year is from the company’s building on Main Street to Ash Street.
Last year the company completed undergrounding on Main Street from Weatherlow to the company’s Main Street building and for one block south and north from the Main and Weatherlow intersection.
Contractor for the project is the Comconex Company of Redding.
