Aerial View of New Lassen College

The above aerial view of the new Lassen College campus just north of the Susanville city limits on St. Rt. 139 indicates that construction work is nearing completion.
The picture, taken by Warren Chapman, appeared in yesterday’s issue of the Cougar, Lassen College newspaper.
The forestry-gunsmith complex center, and portable buildings, top center, are presently in use. The gymnasium, at lower right, is near completion. The dormitory, far left and liberal arts – administration buildings, lower left, are scheduled for mid-winter completion.
Paving is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week with the exception of the gymnasium parking lot.
