LMUD’s Janesville customers are currently without power due to a damaged power line.
According to LMUD spokesperson Theresa Phillips, ” The line is located in a remote area across Bass Hill. Due to the rugged terrain, LMUD crews must access the line by foot or by all terrain vehicles.”
Once crews reach the line they can better assess the damage and repair the downed line. The damage was caused by extremely high winds. At this time there is no estimate to the length of the outage or severity of the damage to the line.
