LMUD customers in Susanville were without power from approximately 3:00p.m. to 3:35p.m. today.
According to LMUD Energy Services Manager Theresa Phillips the cause of the outage appears to be a broken cross-arm which caused the distribution line west of Susanville to come down. It is not known at this time what caused the broken cross-arm.
Crews have restored power the majority of customers – customers in the area West of Susanville on Highway 36 are still without power at this time. Repairs on the broken cross-arm and downed line are in progress.
