After four years of successful self-publishing Dr. Tom Gauthier of Janesville has been signed on as an author for Patriot Media, a book publisher specializing in military histories, war veteran autobiographies, short story anthologies and novels with a patriotic military theme.
Gauthier already has one novel released and two more are scheduled for release this year.
We asked Gauthier to give us a preview of the book he is working on.
The title is Revenge of the Black Sun and according to the author the book, “thrusts our hero Amos Mead into the post WWII world of Nazi war criminals and spies as they scatter around the world avoiding justice. Some were secretly brought to the U.S. by our government to work as spies against the communists. Now they are being assassinated … one by one. By whom?”
That’s the secret Gauthier’s hero will have to uncover. The trail leads from Washington to Brazil to Mexico, and finally reveals its twisted tale in a castle in Germany.
In 2009 Dr. Gauthier earned second place recognition in the 17th Annual International Writers Digest Self-Publishing competition for Literary Fiction for his novel, A Voyage Beyond Reason; telling the amazing story of Susanville’s ”Coach” Ben Wade and his six month record-breaking sea kayak voyage.
