The Native Daughters of the Golden West, an organization founded in 1886 to preserve California’s history and the social and cultural development of the state, is now accepting applications for membership. The NDGW is a service organization made up of individuals born in California.
The Native Daughters contribute to many charitable projects including historic site preservation, mission restoration, education and scholarships, environmental issues and historical landmark placement.
The NDGW Children’s Foundation serves the interests of California children who are not eligible for any other existing aid. When a child needs medical, dental, occupational or educational therapy, the foundation is there to provide the help needed for those services, thanks to the hard work and generous donations of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, their friends and community supporters.
If you are interested in joining NDGW Nataqua Parlor #152 contact Dena Eastwood, P.O. Box 1905, Susanville, California 96130, for an application.
