Susanville’s neighborhood watch groups will be honoring local law enforcement with a special ‘night out’ event on September 15th.
“This event is intended to honor the dedication and hard work of all of our law enforcement Officers here in Lassen County including the Sheriff’s Deputies, Susanville PD, and CHP Officers,” explains organizer Pat Holley. “We want to thank you all for what you do for our communities!”
All neighborhood watch groups and neighbors who are interested in community safety are invited to attend the officer appreciation barbecue which will be held in Memorial Park from 4:00 to 8:00p.m.
Burgers and hot dogs will be provided, everyone is asked to bring a side dish to share.
“Following the barbecue, attendees and officers will be invited to walk local neighborhoods, parks and trails to identify areas that may need attention in terms of vagrancy or litter problems. We look forward to seeing you there!”
