Come celebrate Portola’s proud railroad heritage at Railroad Days 2025! The event will be held this Saturday, September 27th, at Portola City Park and the Western Pacific Railroad Museum. You’re invited to a day filled with family fun, history, and community spirit.
Enjoy exciting activities like caboose train rides from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m., a railroad history showcase, and a railroad-themed costume contest.
There will also be plenty of food, beer, wine, and festive cocktails, along with a farmers market, live music, and a crafters fair.
Admission to the museum is free, and there will be a kids fun zone for the little ones.
You can also participate in the “Rails to Trails: 5K for Fresh Air” run and walk on Saturday morning, September 27th. Adults are $20 and children are $15, with toddlers free.
All ages and abilities are welcome to join this scenic 5K celebrating clean air, community health, and outdoor fun.
