Shannon Lee Harvey Nicholas
Shannon Lee Harvey Nicholas was born March 28, 1970, in Susanville, CA., and entered into rest March 15, 2018, in Susanville, CA. at the age of 47. Shannon attended local schools and graduated from Lassen High School in 1988. She attended Chico State University and Lassen Community College, getting an Associates Degree in Business. She worked for Haws, Theobald and Auman for awhile before starting her career with the California Department of Corrections on June 1, 1996. Having worked at High Desert, Corcoran, and California State Prison, Sacramento. Shannon retired from High Desert State Prison May 22, 2017.
Shannon is survived by her son, Brenden Cypriano of Lincoln, CA. and her daughter, Mackenzie Cypriano of Susanville, CA., Her parents, Bill and Barbara Harvey of Lincoln, CA., her sister Stacy Coyle and brother in law Brian Coyle of Lincoln, CA., her brother, Frank Harvey of Fort Worth, Texas, her nephew, Blayne Coyle of Redding, CA., numerous cousins and an aunt. Shannon was predeceased by her son John (JJ) Rivas in 2009.
A celebration of life will be held April 28, 2018, at the Community Church of Susanville, 1400 Numa Road at 2:00p.m. with a private Inurnment in the Lassen Cemetary family plot, next to her grandmother.
