Masonic dignitaries from throughout the west coast joined local members for the sesquicentennial celebration on the lawn at Roop’s Fort, Saturday, July 25th, 2011.
The ceremony re-dedicated the ground at the fort where early Masons gathered to plan and build Susanville and the Honey Lake Valley. The original plaque was dedicated at similiar ceremonies in May of 1961.
