McKinley Elementary School has announced it will be holding its annual Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday, May 14th.
The event, which runs from 4:00 to 6:00p.m. in the McKinley School cafeteria, is designed for all incoming students within the Susanville School District.
Families are invited to come meet the TK and Kindergarten teachers, tour the facilities, and learn more about what McKinley School has to offer.
Eligibility requirements for the 2026-2027 school year are as follows:
- Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Students must be 4 years old by September 1st, 2026.
- Kindergarten: Students must be 5 years old by September 1st, 2026.
Parents and guardians should bring the following required documents to the event:
- The student’s Birth Certificate
- The student’s Immunization Record
McKinley Elementary is located at 2005 Fourth Street in Susanville.
