Second graders from McKinley Elementary took a trip to Susanville Ranch Park last Friday to learn all about the plants and animals you can find in our area.
The students and parents rotated through five different stations where local nature experts – Forest Service, retired Forest Service and a trapper – introduced them to the trees, shrubs, seeds and wildlife that is so abundant in the park.
