Michael James Roseberry

Michael James Roseberry was born Dec 29, 1952 in Long Beach, Calif. to Thomas and Evelyn Marcella Roseberry. After a long battle with cancer finally succumbed Sunday afternoon at the age of 62.

Moving to Sonoma County in his early teens, he grew to love motorcycles, cars and guns. There he met Chad Musulin at the age 15 and they became life- long friends. He eventually followed Chad up to Susanville and went to work at CCC. After retiring he pursued his passions; hanging with his friends, rooting for the Raiders, riding motorcycles, traveling and target shooting.

Mike was very close to Chad and Rhonda Musulin and was always “Uncle Mike” to their three kids. He was especially close with their two sons, teaching them all the “guy things” he loved. He was a fun, compassionate man who would gladly give you his last dollar. His main focus in life taking care of his mom who had always lived with him, determined she would have the best in life. Mike spent the last 6 months of his life at the Musulin’s home in their care; the last 2 weeks at Seneca in acute care before he passed.

He is preceded in death by his father Thomas and his two brothers, Chris and Kurt. He is survived by his mother Marcella Roseberry of Susanville, his sister Julie of Green Valley, AZ., and his ex-wife Tami Roseberry of Mendocino CA and countless long-time friends.

At his request, there will be no services. If you would like to make a donation in his name he would like it to go to Honey Lake Hospice who spent countless hours helping Chad and Rhonda with his care in their home. God bless you Mikey, we know you very ready to go.
