For the second year in a row the kids from Milford 4-H made Valentine’s Day special for local veterans, delivering 65 Valentine greetings to ex-service men and women around the valley and overseas.
Deliveries were made to employees of the California Highway Patrol, Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, Lassen County Jail, Susanville Police Department, Hat Creek Construction and residents of both Eagle Lake Village and Lassen Nursing and Rehab.
Milford 4-H also had the pleasure of mailing Valentines overseas for two children of local Blue Star Moms.
The group thanked all of the Veterans in Lassen County for their service and wishes them a Happy Valentine’s Day!
