Oregon officials have located the 15 year-old girl missing since December 4th and linked to Susanville, in an apartment in Portland.
According to a story in the Gresham Outlook, Kyrsten Roth was found safe in an apartment she had rented with her boyfriend, 20 year-old Andrew Culver of Susanville.
In the Outlook article Sgt. Claudio Grandjean, spokesman for the Gresham Police Department said that, “She’s safe and she was there of her own volition.”
As for whether or not charges will be filed against Culver remains to be seen.
“As strange as it seems,” said Grandjean, “there’s no charge for him being with a runaway.” He added that Culver has no criminal record.
