Updated 5:28p.m. – According to scanner traffic the firefighters have stopped the progression of the fire at approximately 2 acres and have wetline all around the perimeter.

Updated 5:11p.m. – The fire location has been updated to 400 yards north of Boda Lane in Standish. As of this time no structures are threated.

Emergency personel, including firefighters from several local districts, are responding to a vegetation fire on near the intersection of Highway 395 North and County Road A3.
According to initial reports the fire is an escaped controlled-burn in dense vegetation, but with a slow rate of spread and no winds at this time.
