Narcotics Task Force Nets Three in Westwood

The Lassen County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by members of California Highway Patrol, Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and Susanville Police Department executed a residential search warrant at 408 Delwood Street in Westwood on the evening of January 12th. According to a media release from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office three people were arrested as a result of the search warrant.

Michael Hammontree was arrested for possession of controlled substance for sale, possession of controlled substance, and smuggling controlled substance into Lassen ADF. Melissa Magana was arrested for possession of controlled substances. Juan Mike was arrested for a parolee at large warrant.

The task force seized methamphetamine for sale, marijuana for sale, psilocybin mushrooms for sale, methadone, oxycodone, morphine and various forms of drug paraphernalia.

Prior to the arrest, Hammontree was out on bail for possession of controlled substance for sale, possession of controlled substance and possession of a loaded firearm with controlled substances.
