Things are pretty busy at the Lassen County Fair office with the 2015 spectacular just over a month away, and this week the fair announced that a new horseshoe tournament will be part of the fun on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

Deadline Extended for Old Timer and Grand Marshal Nominations
The fair also announced today that the nomination deadline for Old Timer of the Year and Parade Grand Marshal have been extended until June 12th.
Nominees for the Old Timer of the Year must be at least 60 years old and have lived in Lassen County for at least 10 years. Entrants will be judged on criteria including kindness and service to the community. Click here to download a nomination form.
