
An educational workshop titled “Dementia & Caregiving 101” will be held in Susanville on Monday, September 29th, from 1:30 to 2:30p.m. at Northeastern Rural Health Clinic, located at 1850 Spring Ridge Drive.
The workshop, presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, Northeastern Rural Health Clinic, and Passages Caregiver Resource Center, will provide a brief overview of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Topics will include the disease’s impact on the community, common warning signs, and available resources.
Participants will learn how to establish a system of support, find help, and practice self-care to become a more sustainable and resilient caregiver.
