The Lassen County Special Weed Action Team will be hosting a workshop dealing with the basics of integrated weed management on Tuesday evening, December 8th, from 6:30 to 8:00 at the historic Susanville Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Rd, Susanville. This workshop will focus on basic weed identification, methods of control, and will expose participants to a variety of resources available to the public.
Led by local experts on weed management, this workshop will outline the steps to be taken when faced with a potential weed problem.
If you find yourself wondering which plants are invasive, how to deal with of a stubborn patch of weeds or who to turn to for help with your noxious weeds, join the Lassen County SWAT for this informative evening! 1.5 continuing education credit hours are available for attending this workshop, pending California Department of Pesticide Regulation approval.
