Northeastern Rural Health Clinics has introduced a new initiative designed to help local parents navigate the exciting first year of their child’s life: the NRHC Baby Booklet Program. Created specifically for NRHC families with newborns, the program aims to make tracking growth, health milestones, and routine checkups as simple, meaningful and rewarding as possible.
The keepsake guide, titled “My Baby Book,” serves as a go-to resource covering the child’s first 12 months and beyond. Inside, parents will find age and stage-specific milestone guides, helpful overviews detailing what to expect during each Well-Child visit, essential health details regarding growth and lead testing, and easy-to-use tracking tools to celebrate every major developmental step.
Enrollment is automatic for newborns of established NRHC patients. Families will receive their booklet and an accompanying FAQ brochure during their baby’s first weight check.
To make the milestone even more special, NRHC has partnered with local small businesses to put together a thoughtful gift for mom. Families can pick up their gift at the Scheduling desk directly following the first weight check appointment.
