Maryclaire Robinson, the head soccer coach at UC Davis for the past two decades, will be coming to Susanville in conjunction with Lassen Youth Soccer, offering two coaching courses and licenses this weekend.
“To have a coach of this caliber, NCAA D1, is a great thing for all aspiring coaches in Lassen County” says Ben Wade, first vice-president for LYS.
“We are committed to the development of coaches as well as players and this is an important first step in our coaching curriculum.”
The course is being sponsored by LYS, and all entrants are being paid for by the non-profit organization.

The level 1 course will be offered tonight, Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 and focuses on much needed curriculum and drills for 6-10 year olds. The level 3 course is offered on Saturday morning from 8:00 until 5:00p.m. and focuses on competitive club soccer development.
