Here is a quick update from the forecasters at the National Weather Service. The office has issued a Wind Advisory and High Wind Watch for our area from 11:00a.m. until 8:00p.m., Monday.

Winds will increase Monday morning and become strong and gusty by afternoon.
Forecasters expect southwest winds between 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Gusts of 55 to 65 mph are possible along Highway 395 between Susanville and Doyle.
These strong winds will create cross winds on area highways and make travel difficult especially for high profile vehicles.
