In January, the Lassen County Office of Education will be presenting the You Matter Conference, a powerful and inspiring event for Lassen County middle and high school students.
The conference, whose theme is ‘Believe in Yourself’ is designed to educate, inspire, and empower young minds as they navigate today’s challenges and opportunities.
The event will feature Keynote Speaker Trinity Wallace-Ellis, a celebrated entrepreneur, leader, mom, and #1 inspirational speaker. Renowned for her transformative and empowering messages, Trinity is known for captivating audiences with her authenticity, wisdom, and charisma.
Her remarkable journey and profound insights have made her a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change in countless lives.
In addition to Trinity’s keynote address, students will engage in sessions covering crucial topics including:
- Healthy Relationships
- Suicide Awareness
- Fentanyl and Social Media Safety
- Human Trafficking Awareness
“This is a day of learning, growth, and inspiration that students won’t want to miss,” said Patricia Gunderson, Lassen County Superintendent of Schools. “The conference aims to equip students with knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, stay safe, and thrive in their personal and academic lives.”
