The Westwood Area Chamber of Commerce’s held its annual Chowder Cookoff outside at the Westwood Visitor Center Saturday, with hundreds of people showing up to taste some amazing chowder and hang out with friends and neighbors.
First place in the Judges’ Choice award went to the Chimney Fund, with Hog Wild in second and the Lassen County Cattlewomen in third.
For the People’s Choice award first place went to the Chimney Fund, the Lassen County Cattlewomen took second and Il Lago Pizza and Pasta placed third.
Born and Raised won an award for Best Booth.
