A Susanville resident was arrested Sunday afternoon for stabbing two people during an altercation at an address in the 2700 block of Main Street.
At around 4:00 p.m. officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to a reported fight in progress.
When officers arrived they contacted 32 year-old Terry Mann Jr., 28 year-old Marcella Bustamante and 45 year-old Seana Allen who were involved in an altercation that started over what police characterized as a civil problem.
“As a result of the investigation Allen was arrested for stabbing Mann and Bustamante during the altercation,” explained Susanville Police Lieutenant Matt Wood. “Mann and Bustamante suffered stab wounds to their lower extremities but declined medical attention.”
Allen was booked into the Lassen County Jail on one count of assault with a deadly weapon and held on $25,000 bail.
The case has been referred to the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
