The Historic Uptown Susanville Association’s Safe and Sane Halloween party in uptown Susanville was a big hit on Tuesday with more than 1,000 Lassen county kids making the trek uptown to get candy, show off costumes and have a marvelous time.
The 4th annual Coffin Races drew a big crowd to watch the homemade coffin-mobiles fly down the street. Again this year the team from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office took home the championship trophy.
