Here was a great way to kick off a Thanksgiving holiday! More than 250 runners from a Susanville fitness group held their first-ever Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot early Thursday morning.
The 3.1 mile timed-course started at the Lassen Superior Courthouse on Riverside Drive and featured participants who walked, jogged, ran and rode their bikes to cross the finish line.
Prizes were awarded for the best costume and largest family group.
