Emergency responders from multiple agencies are on the scene of a late morning traffic collision which has rerouted traffic on Hwy 139 north of Susanville.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol a semi-truck reportedly left the roadway and rolled down the embankment just south of the summit of Antelope peak.
Traffic is being stopped and rerouted by the California Highway Patrol at the 139/Spring Ridge intersection.
The CHP’s incident information center reports that the semi-truck was possibly carrying a load of milk, and that extrication is needed for the driver of the vehicle who has likely suffered fatal injuries.
