Local photographer Randy Robbins is collaborating with the Susanville Performing Arts Center and the Sierra Theatre for an upcoming presentation about his recent trip to Patagonia!
After previous travels and photographic pursuits, Robbins has hosted slide shows and presentations at his A Thousand Windows gallery in uptown Susanville recapping his adventures and sharing images.
His recent trip to the southern tip of South America has generated enough interest for him to pursue a larger venue for a presentation on September 11th. The evening will include images, video and stories from his grand adventure to Magellanic Antarctica. (the region connecting southern South America to the Antarctic peninsula)
Robbins’ travels included crossing the Strait of Magellan and setting out across the island of Tierra Del Fuego in a rental car in pursuit of penguins, three days tracking pumas in the first snowstorms of the South American winter and photographing the amazing landscapes of this incredible region. The images he came home with are truly remarkable.

The show begins at the Sierra Theatre at 6:30p.m. and there will be an open house immediately following the presentation across the street in Robbins’ gallery.
