Paulyne Marie Faure
Paulyne Marie Faure passed away at home on May 22, 2019 after a long battle with lung cancer. Paulyne was born in Susanville, Ca on April 16, 1941. She was the first of 3 children born to Frank and Maudie Faure. She graduated from Lassen High School-Class of 1959. She then went to Beauty School in Reno, NV. She worked a couple of years as a beautician, then as a blackjack dealer. She married Denny Moore in Reno. They later divorced. She later took a job in Medical Records at St Mary’s hospital in Reno. After working there for many years, she went to work for the National Guards.
She returned to Susanville in the late 90′ s, she volunteered at Lassen Banner Hospital in Records and the gift shop. She also assisted with the oversight operations of Eskaton Manor where she resided. She leaves behind her many friends and caregivers, her dog-Upsey Daisy (which has been adopted by another resident), her brother, Frank and his wife plus 2 nephews, 1 niece and their families.
Paulyne will be interred in the family plot at the Lassen Cemetery. There will be no funeral or memorable services. A few friends and family will gather at the time of her interment.
