Lassen Land and Trails Trust held their 30th annual Paiute Meadows Trail Run early Saturday morning, May 10th, with hundreds of participants from up and down the west coast showing up to enjoy the beautiful weather, and to run the nationally-known trail system at Susanville Ranch Park.
The races were held on four courses of differing lengths winding through the heart of the park, and local groups, businesses and organizations worked hard to make it one of Lassen County’s premiere annual events.
Race organizer Linda Powell was honored at the beginning of the event for all of the time and effort she and her company, The Bizz Running Company, have put into the Paiute Meadows run for more than a decade. She was given a gorgeous hand-sewn quilt.
