Lassen Land and Trails Trust packed the historic railroad depot last Thursday with a sold-out crowd who gathered to hear Bob Woods, a former Susanville resident, teacher and city council member, share his research and travels on the Lassen Emigrant Trail.
He became interested in the trail in the 1990s when he was a naturalist-interpreter for the U. S. Forest Service.
“We are thrilled with the positive response,” LL&TT posted on their Facebook page, “and if we can convince Bob to come and speak again we will find a larger venue!”
