Community Coat Drive
As cooler temperatures mark the changes in seasons, families are digging out their winter gear so they can bundle up against the cold.We live in a beautiful place with wonderful seasons, but during winter there are months when you can’t venture outside without a coat or jacket. What if you didn’t have a coat to wear?
Banner Lassen Medical Center is asking the community to clean out the extras in their closets and bring donations to its annual Winter Coat Drive.
New and gently used coats, sweaters, sweatshirts of any size and blankets will be accepted from 1:00 to 7:00p.m. on December 12th in the Pioneer Room at the hospital. Banner Lassen does ask that you make sure your donations are clean.
Community Food Drive
Bring your non-perishable food items to Banner Lassen Medical Center during the Friday event and donated food will go to families in need throughout Lassen County.
Get your picture taken with Santa Claus!
Santa and his elves are very excited to see everyone again this year! When you make a contribution of a non-perishable food item or a coat you get a free photo with Santa. Limit one photo per person.
All coats will be donated to a local charity for distribution to those in need. For more information about the event, contact 252-2000.
