Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative will be holding its 2025 Regular Annual Meeting of the Membership on Thursday, September 4th, at 6:00p.m. The meeting will take place at the Sierra Valley Grange, 92202 Highway 70, Vinton, and will also be streamed live on YouTube. All voting members are encouraged to attend.
The agenda for the meeting includes reports from officers and managers, a report from the Nominating Committee, and the official results of the election of directors for Districts 2 and 5.
New for 2025: All members who attend the meeting in person will receive a $25 bill credit.
Schedule of Events
5:00 – 6:00p.m.: Doors open and registration begins. Registered members will receive gifts while supplies last.
5:00 – 6:00p.m.: Dinner will be served. Meal tickets are provided to those who register for the meeting.
5:45p.m.: A special presentation will be held to honor photo contest and scholarship winners.
6:00p.m.: The annual meeting officially begins.
Meeting Agenda Highlights
The business meeting will include a quorum check, the official call to order, and introductions of directors. Key agenda items include the 2024 minutes, reports from the Credentials and Nominating Committees, and nominations from the floor. Following speeches by nominees, members will cast their votes for directors for Districts 2 and 5, with the results announced later in the meeting. The event will conclude with a door prize drawing.
