Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative Launches Holiday Food Drive

Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative is calling on area residents to help feed local families this holiday season. Acknowledging that families in our area go to bed hungry every day, the cooperative is organizing a drive to provide essential meals and groceries to those who need them most.

PSREC and PST have committed to donating all collected items to local food banks across Plumas, Sierra, and Lassen counties to ensure widespread support for the region.

Community members can help by dropping off any non-perishable and non-expired food items.

Donations are currently being accepted at the drop-off location in the PSREC lobby, located at 73233 State Route 70 in Portola. The lobby is open for donations Monday through Friday, from 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m., and the drive will continue until December 12th.

For more information regarding the food drive or how to get involved, please get in touch with Kaitlyn Beever via email at [email protected] or by calling 1.530.832.6060.
