The Susanville Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of a local gas station in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving day.
According to Lieutenant Matt Wood, officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to the Beacon gas station on Main Street around 3:00a.m. on a reported armed robbery.
When officers arrived they spoke with the clerk who reported that he had been held up at gunpoint by two subjects who exited the store after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries reported during the incident.
