The Susanville Police Department is seeking several suspects in connection with an early morning assault on fifth street that sent a 32 year-old man to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
According to Lieutenant Matt Wood officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 700 block of Hall street around 1:00 Tuesday morning on the report of a prior assault.
When officers arrived they found a 32 year-old man who reported that he had been assaulted, about 30 minutes prior, by several male subjects while he was walking in the 1600 block of Fifth Street. The victim reported that the assault had taken place after a brief verbal altercation.
The victim was initially transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center and later flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno for treatment of multiple facial fractures.
