The Susanville Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a man with a $75,000 felony warrant who fled on foot after a traffic stop Tuesday evening.
At around 8:30p.m., on June 11th, according to details released by the department, officers observed a man identified as Susanville resident Justin Gene Lord driving a vehicle near Grand Avenue and Chestnut Street.
“Officers had previous knowledge that Lord has an active outstanding felony warrant for $75,000,” explains Police Captain Ryan Cochran. “As the Officers attempted to make a traffic stop, Lord accelerated for a short distance then pulled over and fled on foot near Pat Murphy little league field.”
The officers gave chase but were unable to locate Lord.
