The Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District will be hosting an interactive discussion with local landowners, NRCS, Lassen Land and Trails Trust, and California Rangeland Trust to learn about conservation easements and other opportunities in our area tomorrow, January 30th.
This workshop will feature presentations from various organizations, followed by a panel discussion with local producers who will share their insights and experiences. After the formal sessions, HLVRCD will host a sponsored social hour.
The meeting will be held at Side Iron BBQ, 724 Main Street. Doors open at 1:45p.m., with a presentation from 2:00 to 4:00 and a social hour from 4:00 to 5:00.
Food and beverages will be provided.
During the social hour, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with organizational partners, including the Farm Service Agency, Intermountain West Joint Venture, Ducks Unlimited and many others.
Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Point Blue Conservation Science, California Rangeland Trust and Lassen Land & Trails Trust will all be on hand for the discussion.
