Customers of Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative have been without power for most of the day as crews battle high winds and heavy rain.
According to PSREC spokesperson Donna Mills, “As of 3 p.m. 2/6/15, PSREC’s system-wide outage is expected to last until at least 3 a.m. in the southern part of the system. Due to extremely sever damage from Herlong north, that area is expected to be without power for 24 to 48 hours.”
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation. Please conserve as much as possible when power is restored.”
