Lassen County’s Public Health department has announced changes to its hours of operation and some new services for the community as the New Year begins.
The LCPHD’s clinic, which is now located at 1345 Paul Bunyan Rd Suite A, will now be open Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m., until 4:30p.m., and closed from noon to 1:00p.m. for lunch.
The department is accepting walk-ins for Flu, COVID, and RSV vaccinations.
“We are still waiting for our adult COVID and RSV vaccines, but we do have COVID and RSV vaccines for our VFC eligible children,” a spokesperson for LCPHD explained on social media.
“Unfortunately, we do not accept private insurance at this time. Please reach out to your primary care provider, pediatrician, or pharmacies to see if they have the vaccines for those with Private Insurance or who do not qualify for our Adult or VFC immunization programs.”

- FREE STD testing on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday
- TB testing on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays by walk-ins
- Oral Health, which includes fluoride varnish, is offered for kids 0-18 years of age, and pregnant or breastfeeding women. These services are offered Monday, Wednesday and Fridays by appointment only. If fluoride is applied you will receive a gift card to Big 5, the Sierra Theatre or Round Table Pizza
