The Lassen National Forest is holding a public meeting to discuss the Forest’s Over-Snow Vehicle Use Program. The public release of the Revised Draft Environmental Impact Statement is anticipated to occur on October 6th, 2017. This meeting will focus on answering any questions regarding the RDEIS.
The OSV Use Program seeks to effectively manage OSV use on the Lassen National Forest to provide access, ensure that OSV use occurs when there is adequate snow, promote the safety of all users, enhance public enjoyment, minimize impacts to natural and cultural resources and minimize conflicts among the various uses.
This meeting is scheduled for October 17th, at the Lassen National Forest Supervisor’s Office, 2550 Riverside Drive in Susanville, from 3:00 to 6:00p.m.
